I was never a big Barbie girl, let alone a big doll girl at all growing up (remind me to tell you the story of my mom nailing dolls to my wall on display - I think I have a pic of it somewhere, btw). However, how do you ignore the birthday of an icon? You really can't, esp since anywhere you look lately you see it hyped - from a runway show at Fashion Week, to a collaboration with Stila cosmetics for a retro Barbie makeup collection of tins. So I decided to celebrate just a tiny bit. I changed my fingernail polish:
I put on Zoya Nail Polish in Barbie. It truly is a Barbie color pink - very bubblegum with a hint of frost. I was lucky enough to pick this up during a twitter only special, and decided this would be a great day to try this one out. I like it, but I think it will make a much better toe color for me this Spring, as I am not used to such pastel colors on my fingers now.
